Commands used : Line, Rectangle, Trim
Procedure-
- Create a Rectangle by typing (Rec) command in command box.
- Specify the first corner point as (1,1)
- Specify other point or [Area/Dimension/Rotation]. Click on Dimension or type D
- Specify the length of rectangle as 0.9 units in command box

- Create third Rectangle by typing (Rec) command in command box.
- Specify the first corner point which is 0.05 units from the starting point of second rectangle.
- Specify width of rectangle as 0.4 units
- Draw a line from the corner of third rectangle, using command (L) of dimension 1.15 units.
- Move cursor downwards and type length 0.15 units and right and type length as 1.15 units.
- Draw the fourth rectangle by typing (Rec) command in command box.
- Specify the first corner point at a distance of 0.05 from the third rectangle
- Draw the length as 0.3 and width as 0.6.
- At a distance of 0.3 units from the line drawn from the corner of third rectangle, draw another line with 0.15 units vertically and 0.3 units horizontally.
- Repeat this two times to create 3 steps.
- Draw a rectangle over the fourth rectangle of length 0.3 units and 0.05 units
- Draw a rectangle over the fifth rectangle of length 0.3 units and 1 units
- Erase all unwanted lines using Trim command.

RESULT- Cross section of Load Bearing Wall over spread footing is finally drawn.
AIM 3- Cross section of Isolated footing.
Commands used: Line, offset (o), trim
Procedure-
- Draw a line with command L and type 1 units
- Make orthomode 'on' by pressing F8.
- Move the cursor upwards and type 0.15 units
- Now draw a line using coordinate @0.38,0.25
- Next coordinate is given as @0,1.6
- Next @0.28,0
- Next coordinate @0,-1.6
- Next coordinate @0,-1.6
- Next @ 0, -0.15 or close
- Now draw an offset with the command at a distance of 0.04 from the bottom line to up wards.
- Type command o and select the object and give the offset distance as 0.04
- Repeat for the right and left bottom end
- Trim to eliminate any unwanted lines
- Take offset from the top line with an offset distance of 0.2 units.
- Type command o an select the object-give the offset distance as 0.2 -select multiple option a 9 such lines.
- Trim the excess lines.

RESULT- Cross section of Isolated Footing.
AIM 4- To draw line diagram of 2 bedroom building
Commands used: Line, rectangle, offset (o), trim
Procedure-
- Draw a rectangle of 3.6 and 3.6 units.
- Use explode command and select rectangle.
- Take offset of 1 units
- Draw another rectangle of 3.6 and 4.2 units from right hand corner of the offset taken.
- Now select the 1 unit member and take offset of 0.3 unit three times in +ve y direction.
- Similarly, select the 1 unit member and take offset of 0.3 unit three times in -ve y direction.
- Now take 0.9 unit offset from the left rectangle bottom side. Similarly, take 1.8 units offset from upper side.
- Using trim command, trim the line between the offset of 0.9 and 1.8 unit and erase all the unecessary lines.
- Join all the 0.3 offset lines from both sides.

RESULT- Line diagram of 2 bedroom building
AIM 5- To draw the isometric view of steps.
Commands used: Line, Isometric plane
Procedure-
- To get isometric view, type ds (dsettings) in command prompt snap off and grid off. Click on isometric snap on.
- Make sure ortho is on if not press F8.
- From isometric drafting select iso-plane left.
- Type command L in command line and move the cursor in -ve x direction (left side) 1 unit
- move the cursor in +ve y direction (top side) 0.15 units
- move the cursor in +ve x direction 1 units and cursor to -ve y direction (down side) 0.15 units
- Change the isometric drafting to iso-plane top
- Move the cursor to back and give 0.3 units from the last drawn point
- Move the cursor to right direction and give 1 unit
- Move the cursor to front and give 0.3 unit
- Change the isometric drafting to iso-plane right
- Copy the object drawn, ortho off
- Command "co" and specify the base point and place it to new point
- Repeat the above procedures until 4 steps are formed
- With iso-plane right join the two ends with ortho off.

RESULT- Isometric view of Steps
AIM 6- To draw the isometric view of gable wall

- Draw 1 unit towards the right and 2.42 units downwards
- Using isometric left again, using line command draw 0.3 units to left side and draw a line which intersects the top line
- Using iso-metric right with the line command draw 1.0 unit to right Side and 3.0 units upwards.
- By using the line command draw a line from bottom left corner @1.5 units and extend line 4 units upwards i.e., total 3.25 units from bottom
- With ortho off, draw a line between the corner of left side and the projected line done in procedure 11.
- Draw it to the other side also till it meets the right corner
- Draw the vertical line with ortho on @0.3 and join the vertical line using line from left and right end same as in the step 5 remove unwanted lines by using erase.
