    OBJECTIVE

    • To mesh the geometry considering the given Quality Parameters and to create connectors for attaching various components.

    PROCEDURE

    • Geometry was imported @IMPORT>FILES>IMPORT>GEOMETRY>ALL>IMPORT.
    • 2D mesh was applied @2D>AUTOMESH>SURFACES>QUADS>ELEMENT SIZE - 5>MESH.
    • Quality was checked @TOOLS>CHECK ELEMENTS after uploading quality criteria file @2D>QUALITY INDEX>PAGE 4>EDIT CRITERIA.
    • Connectors were establised as per given @2D>CONNECTORS>SEAM/BOLT/SPOT>QUAD/SEAM QUAD/HEXA/WELD/BUSH/BOLT.
    • Selected @2D>NODES>...>COMPONENTS>TYPES>TOLERANCE>Check Other Options>CREATE.
    • Other required regions were connected as required.
    • Established connectors can be checked at @VIEW>BROWSER>HYPER MESH>CONNECTORS>EDIT AS NEEDED.
    • Final model was 'Exported' after work completion.

    SCREENSHOTS

    • @Sample 1 - After importing the model.
    • @Sample 2 - After moving to different components and assigning property/material.
    • @Sample (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) - Assigning different connectors as given.
    • @Sample 10 - Final model before exporting.

Distorted mesh due to connections made were tried to sort out as possible.
