    1. Create the templates as shown in Figures. Take the size of the title block as per industry standards or you can assume it as per the size of the paper. Use text and attributes wherever required. After creating the title block you need to save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock and Custom2_titleblock, respectively.

    AIM: 

    To create template as shown in figure by using AutoCAD 

    INTRODUCTION:

    The template is created in AutoCAD by using tools like Draw, Modify, Annotation and Blocks. The procedure of drawing is given in detail and final result is attach.

    PROCEDURE:

    STEP 1) SELECTION OF MODAL FOR DRAWING

    • Open AutoCAD 
    • STARTUP enter for new drawing 
    • Enter new value for startup 1 enter
    • Create new file (a dialog box open)
    • Go to last icon USE A WIZARD open
    • Select ADVANCE SETUP click OK
    • Select DECIMAL, precision 0.0 > NEXT > NEXT > NEXT > NEXT > FINISH
    • UN enter for unit setting
    • Select DECIMAL, precision 0.0 in type 
    • Insertion scale select MILIMETERS Click OK
    • LIM enter for set limit
    • Specify lower left corner 0,0 enter
    • Specify upper right corner 1000,1000 enter
    • Z enter for zoom
    • Zoom for select ALL or A enter

    STEP 2) LAYER PROPERTY 

    • Ribbon > Layer Properties
    • Create New Layer > Rename Layer > TEXT, TITLE BOX
    • Change colour for different layer

    STEP 3) CREATE CUSTOM 1 TITLE BOX

    • Set layer as title box
    • Create a rectangle by using REC command
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Offset the top line in downward direction at different distance 
    • Create lines as per given figure 
    • Change lineweight for right vertical and bottom horizontal line 

     STEP 4) TEXT FOR CUSTOM 1 TITLE BOX

    • Set layer as text
    • Provide text as per required 
    • Change Text Font, Height and Colour for different type of text 

    STEP 5) BLOCK CREATE FOR CUSTOM 1 TITLE BOX

    • B enter for block 
    • In dialog box type name of block (custom1_titleblock)
    • Pick a point from created drawing
    • Select entire object enter the click on OK

    STEP 6) CREATE CUSTOM 2 TITLE BOX

    • Create a rectangle by using REC command
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Offset the top line in downward direction at different distance 
    • Create lines as per given figure 
    • Change lineweight as per shown in figure

    STEP 7) TEXT FOR CUSTOM 2 TITLE BOX

    • Provide text as per required 
    • Change text font, height and colour for different type of text 

     STEP 8) BLOCK CREATE FOR CUSTOM 2 TITLE BOX

    • B enter for block 
    • In dialog box type name of block (custom2_titleblock)
    • Pick a point from created drawing
    • Select entire object enter the click on OK

    RESULT:

    By following above procedure, get result as shown below

    2. Create the doors type for warehouse as shown in the Figure. You need to create each door type as per standard size or given dimensions. Create the blocks of this door type after creating them.

    AIM: 

    To create door type as shown in figure by using AutoCAD 

    INTRODUCTION:

    • Specify upper right corner 10000,10000 enter
    • Z enter for zoom
    • Zoom for select ALL or A enter

    STEP2) DOOR1 CREATED 

    • To start drawing with Rectangle as given size
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Divide the most inner line in 4 equal segments and take offset
    • Create rectangle box as given and copy them at desire location
    • Door handle with rectangle then fillet the corner

    STEP 3) DIAGRAM CONVERT IN BLOCK

    • Create a block as name DOOR1
    • Pick as an insertion point
    • Select entire door then enter and click OK

    STEP 4) TEXT AND DIMENSION

    • Change text font and height from style text manager
    • Using multiline text to provide text as DOOR1 
    • Change over all scale from dimension style manager 
    • Provide dimension by using DIM command 

    STEP 5) DOOR2 CREATED 

    • Copy door 1 
    • Explode the copied door
    • Remove all small boxes by using erase command

    STEP 6) DIAGRAM CONVERT IN BLOCK

    • Create a block as name DOOR2
    • Pick as an insertion point
    • Select entire door then enter and click OK

    STEP 7) TEXT AND DIMENSION

    • Using multiline text to provide text as DOOR2
    • Change over all scale from dimension style manager 
    • Provide dimension by using DIM command

    RESULT:

    The followed procedure gives the final result

    3. Create each symbol as a block with the name given in the legend. After creating the blocks arrange them in the legend as shown in the Figure.

    AIM: 

    To create individual symbols by using AutoCAD application 

    INTRODUCTION:

    The symbol legend is created by using tools like Draw, Modify, Annotation and Blocks. Convert in block then insert in table according legend name. The procedure of drawing is given in detail and final result is attach.

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “SINGLE GANG SWITCH”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 4) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR DOUBLE GANG SWITCH

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Double Gang Switch

    STEP 5) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “DOUBLE GANG SWITCH”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 6) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR TRIPLE GANG SWITCH

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Triple Gang Switch

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Switch Cross

    • By using Mirror command created other three line-angles

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “SWITCH CROSS”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 16) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR SWITCH SERIAL

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Switch Serial
    • By using Mirror command created another line-angle

    STEP 17) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “SWITCH SERIAL”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 18) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR SINGLE SOCKET

    • Create a Circle by using “C” command and draw a diameter of circle
    • Trim the lower half of the circle.
    • By using line command draw a line on top of half circle as shown in figure
    • Take different copies for all other switches

    STEP 19) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “SINGLE SOCKET”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 20) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR SINGLE SOCKET FOR LAMP

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Single Socket for Lamp

    STEP 21) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “SINGLE SOCKET FOR LAMP”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Double Socket

    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter

    • Take a copy and modified according to the Floor Socket Double Telephone
    • Created a triangle with the help of polygon command
    • Created a Rectangle by using “REC” command

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “FLOOR SOCKET DOUBLE TELEPHONE”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    • Created a triangle with the help of polygon command
    • Keep some copies of triangle for reference

    • Take a copy of triangle and modified according to the Internet Socket 
    • With the help of Multiline Text “MTEXT” command give “i” in between the triangle and change the font “Arial”

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “INTERNET SOCKET”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 38) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR TV SOCKET 

    • Take a copy of triangle and modified according to the TV Socket 
    • With the help of Multiline Text “MTEXT” command give “TV” in between the triangle and change the font “Arial”

    STEP 39) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “TV SOCKET”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 40) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR WEATHERPROOF SOCKET 

    • Take a copy of triangle and modified according to the Weatherproof Socket 
    • With the help of Multiline Text “MTEXT” command give “W” in between the triangle and change the font “Arial”

    STEP 41) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “WEATHERPROOF SOCKET”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 42) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR DECT BASE STATION 

    • Create a rectangle by using REC command
    • Explode the Rectangle with the help of X command
    • Move the bottom horizontal line 
    • Created inclined line as shown by using line and mirror same line for opposite side
    • Again, with the help of line command created wire 
    • By using rectangle created pin of switch and hatch the pin with solid

     STEP 43) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “DECT BASE STATION”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 44) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR WALL BRACKET 

    • Create a Circle by using “C” command
    • With the help of line command divide the circle in 4 parts as show in figure
    • Create a rectangle by using REC command down to the circle
    • Draw two lines perpendicular to the rectangle as shown in figure

    STEP 45) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “WALL BRACKET”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

     STEP 46) SYMBOLS CREATED FOR PICTURE LAMP

    • Create 2 rectangles by using REC command with different size as given
    • Draw two lines perpendicular to the rectangles as shown in figure

    STEP 47) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the switch into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “PICTURE LAMP”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 48) CRAETE A TABLE

    • Create a rectangle by using a REC command for the outer line of table
    • Explode the rectangle with the help on X command
    • Take the offset from top to bottom as required as well as left to right

    STEP 49) PROVIDED TEXT FOR SYMBOLS

    • By using MTEXT command provided name of table and symbols as required 
    • Change the font of text and hight as shown

    STEP 50) INSERT SYMBOLS

    • Insert the block of symbols by using “I” command as required in the table

    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure

    • Provided the Size of Door D1 with the help of “DIM” command
    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    • To start drawing with rectangle as given size
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Extend the vertical line 
    • Create pattern as given in figure by the help of rectangle and offset 
    • Created the circle by using C command in center of the door

    STEP 6) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Door into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D2”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 7) PROVIDE TEXT AND DIMENSION

    • Provided the Size of Door D2 with the help of “DIM” command
    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    STEP 8) D3 CREATED 

    • To start drawing with rectangle as given size
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Extend the vertical line 
    • Create pattern as given in figure by the help of rectangle, offset and hatch command 
    • Created the handle with the help of rectangle “REC” and circle “C” command
    • Fillet the corner of handle as required

    STEP 9) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Door into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D3”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 10) PROVIDE TEXT AND DIMENSION

    • Provided the Size of Door D3 with the help of “DIM” command
    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    STEP 11) D4 CREATED 

    • To start drawing with rectangle
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Extend the vertical line 
    • Create arc at the top of door and take offset of desire sizes for both external and internal pattern
    • Used Trim, erase command to remove unwanted lines.
    • Create pattern as given in figure by the help of rectangle and offset command 
    • Created the handle with the help of rectangle “REC” and circle “C” command
    • Fillet the corner of handle as required
    • Created the circle by using C command in center of the door

    STEP 12) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Door into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D4”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 13) PROVIDE TEXT

    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    STEP 14) D5 CREATED 

    • To start drawing with rectangle
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Extend the vertical line 
    • Create pattern as given in figure by the help of rectangle and offset command 
    • Created the handle with the help of rectangle “REC” and circle “C” command
    • Fillet the corner of handle as required
    • Created the circle by using C command in center of the door

    STEP 15) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Door into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D5”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK 

    STEP 16) PROVIDE TEXT

    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    STEP 17) D6 CREATED 

    • To start drawing with rectangle
    • Offset the lines as per shown in figure 
    • Explode the rectangle 
    • Trim and erase to remove unwanted line
    • Extend the vertical line 
    • Create arc at the top of door and take offset of desire sizes for both external and internal pattern
    • Used Trim, erase command to remove unwanted lines.
    • Create pattern as given in figure by the help of rectangle and offset command 
    • Created the handle with the help of rectangle “REC” and circle “C” command
    • Fillet the corner of handle as required
    • Created the circle by using C command in center of the door

    STEP 18) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Door into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D6”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 19) PROVIDE TEXT

    • With the help of “MTEXT” command give the text in diagram

    RESULT:

    After following all the above steps finally got the result like below

    5. Create each shape as a block as shown in the Figure. Save the block and insert them on the table as shown in the Figure.

    • Create a line by using line command of 750mm
    • By using arc (start, end, direction) command create arc at both the end of line
    • Draw lines at both the end of arc with using line command
    • Provided size of shape by using DIM tool and text by using MTEXT command

    STEP 3) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Shape into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “A(20mm)”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

     STEP 4) CREATE SHAPE OF TYPE B(16mm)

    • Create a line by using line command of 390mm
    • Take the offset on line on upward side and extend the line equally at both side
    • Create incline line for both side from bottom line
    • Trim and erase unwanted lines
    • By using arc (start, end, direction) command create arc at both the end of line
    • Draw lines at both the end of arc with using line command
    • Provided size of shape by using DIM tool and text by using MTEXT command

    STEP 5) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Shape into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “B(16mm)”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 6) CREATE SHAPE OF TYPE C(16mm)

    • Create a line by using line command of 210mm
    • Take the offset on line on upward side and extend the line equally at both side
    • Create incline line for both side from bottom line
    • Trim and erase unwanted lines
    • By using arc (start, end, direction) command create arc at both the end of line
    • Draw lines at both the end of arc with using line command
    • Provided size of shape by using DIM tool and text by using MTEXT command

    STEP 7) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Shape into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “C(16mm)”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 8) CREATE SHAPE OF TYPE D(12mm)

    • Create a line by using line command of 750mm
    • By using arc (start, end, direction) command create arc at both the end of line
    • Draw lines at both the end of arc with using line command
    • Provided size of shape by using DIM tool and text by using MTEXT command

    STEP 9) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Shape into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “D(12mm)”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 10) CREATE SHAPE OF TYPE E(10mm)

    • Create a rectangle with REC command
    • Explode the rectangle with the help of X command
    • Fillet the corner as shown in figure
    • With the help of line command draw the lines on top left corner
    • Provided size of shape by using DIM tool and text by using MTEXT command

    STEP 11) COVERT INTO BLOCK

    • Convert the Shape into Block by using B command
    • Provided the name as “E(10mm)”
    • Pick the point in diagram and then select the complete diagram and press enter
    • Click OK

    STEP 12) CREATE A TABLE

    • Create a rectangle with the help of REC command
    • Take the offset from top to bottom and left to right as given

    STEP 13) PROVIDE TEXT IN TABLE

    • With the help of MTEXT command give the name with required size and font

    STEP 12) INSERT THE BLOCKS OF SHAPE

    • For insert the block used “I” command
    • Insert the block as per required

    RESULT:

    After following the steps provided, got the final result,
